Often, when we think about designing a space, we overlook the floor. What a big mistake! Its decorative potential is undeniable, although, of course, one must know how to make the most of it. Because it’s not just about choosing the right material, but also the finish, the design, the way it is laid… And when all of that is taken care of and done with criteria, the result is a true marvel. The floor stops being a secondary element to become the main protagonist, capable of transforming the atmosphere, adding style and providing coherence to the entire space.
Natural, artisanal… and very sweet!
“Sunset Biscuit” is a design created by U Interior Design for the lobby projected for the company Piedra de Ibiza. Inspired by the sunsets of the island, it seeks to capture the warmth, light, and energy of the sun falling over the Mediterranean. A mosaic has been created with unusual marbles, selected precisely for their strong chromatic load and whimsical shapes (don’t they remind you of cookies?). Far from hiding its character, its natural beauty and uniqueness are celebrated here. The pattern, formed by four tones –light pink, dark pink, white, and yellow–, draws a composition on the floor that brings freshness and originality to any space.
